Rules
Expert Advisor (EA) Usage
Yes, Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed on our MT5 platform and can use virtual/hidden stop losses. EA functionality is not available on cTrader or DX Trade accounts.
Trade Copying
Copy trading is allowed with Alpha Capital if you use your own external account as the Master and provide proof of ownership.
Weekend & Overnight Trading
Pro Plan: Allowed in Phases 1 & 2. Not allowed after qualification—violations lead to a soft breach (profits removed, account remains active if within drawdown). Swing/One/Three Plans: Allowed at all stages, but swap fees apply.
News Trading Rules
During Challenge: News trading is allowed across all plans.
After Passing:
Pro Plan- No trade actions 2 minutes before or after listed news (4-minute window).
One & Three Plans- No trade actions 5 minutes before or after listed news (10-minute window).
Swing Plan- News trading is allowed. However, trades opened within 2 minutes before/after news must remain open for more than 2 minutes to be valid.
Additional Notes:
Trades opened outside the restricted window can be held.
If SL/TP is triggered during the restricted window, it’s a soft breach—profits won’t count.
Losses during news events are the trader’s responsibility.
