Rules
Expert Advisor (EA) Usage
EAs allowed, but each user must use a unique strategy. Shared or arbitrage EAs are prohibited. Limits: 2,000 server requests & positions per day. Order caps: 50 lots (Forex/Commodities), 100 lots (Indices), 100 open orders max. All trading styles are allowed if trades are legitimate, follow market conditions, and are replicable in live accounts.
Trade Copying
You can copy trades between your own accounts (personal, E8 Trader, or evaluation). Restriction: No copying between multiple E8 evaluation accounts. Each must be traded independently.
Profit Split Structure
You can keep up to 100% of profits from their E8 Trader account, as long as they follow all Objectives and Rules.
Weekend & Overnight Trading
You can hold trades overnight and over the weekend on all E8 accounts. However, be aware of risks like market gaps, slippage, and spreads—especially during rollovers and weekends. Any violations caused by these are the user’s responsibility.
News Trading Rules
Allowed during all evaluation phases (Phases 1–3). Slippage risk applies—users are responsible if it causes a rule violation. Profits not guaranteed; trades may not fill or may fill at a loss. E8 Trader accounts have a news restriction window: no trading 5 minutes before and after high-impact news.
